Downtown Vancouver is the hub of the city with over 500,000 people entering it each day. There are 27,900 residences with the average age being between 20-39 years old and the median income being approximately $49,325. The downtown core is filled with high- rise buildings and is the center for business/financial activity in B.C. The business mix of downtown Vancouver is comprised of over 46% of the business activity being in the service industry.

This buzzing city center has world famous restaurants, shops and hotels. As the downtown core is relatively small compare to most large urban city centres, many people rely on the excellent biking infrastructure and the transit system including Canada Line, The Skytrain, The Sea bus and transit system.

Yaletown is one of the main sub communities of Downtown Vancouver, and one of the most desirable places to live in Canada.
